Schaeffer Electric Co. Expands Lighting Solutions Team
Dave Bilyeu Joins Schaeffer as Director of Energy and Lighting Solutions

ST. LOUIS Š Dave Bilyeu has joined Schaeffer Electric Co., Inc. as director of energy and lighting solutions. He leads marketing and management for the firmÕs lighting solutions group, which saves facility owners money with energy-efficient lighting retrofit and maintenance solutions.

A Lighting Certified (LC) Professional, Bilyeu also helps customers take advantage of the Business Energy Efficiency Programs rolled out by AmerenUE in early 2009. Schaeffer helps businesses qualify for up to $500,000 in rebates annually until 2011 by investing in energy saving solutions that also improve lighting quality. Bilyeu brings more than 35 years of lighting and energy experience to the team, spanning electrical contracting, distribution, manufacturing and sales. He is past regional vice president of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and past president of IESNA St. Louis. Bilyeu has taught lighting courses at Maryville University and St. Louis Community College-Meramec in St.Louis, Mo. and at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC), Carbondale, Ill.
